last year (wow), on february 29th, i decided to use the bonus day to do something special. i decided to take a leap on leap day :
i played hooky from work, and drove to centralia, pennsylvania. it was a long trip, we got stuck in a snow embankment, and had to ask one of the few remaining locals for help, but it was amazing, and an important day. today, i'm taking another leap, one i've meant to take for over a year now. after writing for several years in this place, and its companion,and_the_reason, it's time to try a union.
this isn't how i feel now, and it wasn't how i felt most of the time then either, but it belongs here.
