Oh god the first scene I'm already crying -sob- Martin Freeman really is a brilliant actor. You can hear the tears he's choking back all through the first scene and his sorrow is so clear…

Goddammit Sherlock

Sherlock becoming famous is fantastic. XD And Scotland Yard got him the HAT. That's awesome.

And Sherlock doesn't understand why John would care what was said about Sherlock.

Moriarty's breaking-in of all the different places was BRILLIANT. Computer-genius!Moriarty is my favourite. The cinematography is fantastic! Although he's really, really creepy. And he's started chewing gum. >-> Ew. The parallels with the three different cups of coffee was lovely. (I should probably not be so admiring of these three crimes. But they're so perfectly executed. Moriarty is a genius. A dramatic one. He's dancing around and writing GET SHERLOCK on the glass. And then he just sits there with all the shinies.)

The newspapers thing was very well done. Although the music could have been done away with. The depiction of the crazy press was amusing.

"Let's give smartarse a wide berth."

"I'll just be myself."

"Are you listening to me?"

And Sherlock's known as "Reichenbach Hero." XD

Moriarty why are you so creepy

The fangirl is really terrifying. Really, really terrifying. Gah. -shudder-

Not nice, Sherlock. I mean, she's scary, but still not nice.

Sherlock, stop antangonising the judge, jury, and lawyers. I mean seriously, I know it's fun, but, honestly.

"The Look." John's name for it amuses me.

And obviously, Moriarty's paid off the whole jury. It's really quite clear.

Sherlock made tea and dressed up and is playing the violin. BC's really learning quickly.

"Most people knock."

Moriarty why are you so creepy

"Every fairytale needs a good old-fashioned villain."

And they're title dropping. -amused-

Computer-genius!Moriarty is my favourite.

They've got the meeting between Moriarty and Holmes at Baker-street.

The feeling of this episode is so suspenseful in a really awesome way.

THE DIOGENES CLUB. They included it!!

The acting really is fantastic.

They're surrounded by killers. O-o

Mycroft and Sherlock's childish feud is going to make things end badly.

Sealing wax. Old-fashioned. That was probably a contact poison…

SHERLOCK THAT'S NOT NICE

The same red sealing wax…

The thing with the linseed oil was brilliant.

Sherlock that was not nice to Molly. Molly's smart, Sherlock, you should be nicer to her.

What are those strange red things? They look suspicious.

Molly's very perceptive. And very kind. Sherlock, you should be nicer to her.

Ah, they were breadcrumbs…Moriarty's making references to fairytales, to Hansel and Gretel.

The putting of pictures on the screen is brilliant!

The papers are painted with mercury…

Moriarty leaving IOU everywhere is freaky.

Sally's suspicious…she thinks Sherlock did the kidnapping.

This is very similar to the case, The Green Blade, which is a fanfic.

More title-dropping. And Moriarty was the cabbie.

It looks like Sherlock killed the guy.

"Cameras? Here? I'm in my nightie!" Mrs Hudson is so fantastic.

Moriarty's playing games with Sherlock, trying to discredit him. The police doubt him now.

"Sherlock, I don't want the world believing that you're-"

"I'm what?"

"That you're a fraud."

And trying to separate John and Sherlock.

And now the Super's getting involved…gah. Moriarty's really going to burn the heart out of Sherlock. Taking away his work, taking away his John…

Goddammit this is uncool Moriarty

John punched the Super in the nose! Go, go, John!!

"Hostage, yes!"

And now Sherlock's on the run with John. And they're chained together. They have to learn to coordinate.

Of course the assassins are paid by Moriarty and Jim has the key to Sherlock's flat.

The fangirl's back. And scarier than ever.

Oh god Moriarty is with the fangirl I knew it.

And Moriarty's pretending not to be Moriarty. Or is he?

And they have proof, it'll be conclusive, of course.

God this is scary, how much Moriarty controls everything

sherlock's gone off on his own, and gone to meet Molly.

He's being nice to her. And honest. God this is heartbreaking.

Mycroft told Jim everything…this is terrifying. Mycroft is really scary.

I sense bamf!John coming up. John feels betrayed and angry, he's likely to hurt someone.

Ah, it was the tapping of fingers on the arm of the chair that was leaving the code.

Mrs Hudson's been hurt, that's the Swiss Messenger. St. Bart's rooftop is the Reichenbach Fall. Of course.

Playing "Stayin' Alive…"

"All my life I've been searching for distractions." Moriarty is so clearly Sherlock's dark mirror.

Binary, of course. Naturally.

They were meaningless!

oh god he bribed all the guards it was basic, it was simple, not pretty, not complicated

oh god oh god

they're going to fall off the roof of st bart's oh god oh god

Of course Mrs H's fine.

"rich brook" "reichenbach" fantastic!

"You're insane."

"You're just getting that now?"

oh god oh god oh god

he's going to jump oh god oh god

i know how this ends they both go over the edge of the rooftop but so much suspense oh god

so much drama, sherlock

"I may be on the side of the angels, but don't think for one second that I am one of them."

Moriarty and Sherlock, dark mirrors for each other.

Moriarty looks happy to have earned Sherlock's respect and then he throws himself off the edge with a gunshot

"As long as I'm alive you can stop them."

sherlock's going to jump isn't he

sherlock's going to break john's heart so john won't miss him

oh god oh god oh god this is heartbreaking this is so bloody heartbreaking I'm crying now

and john believes in him

but sherlock's going to break his heart anyway oh god this is bloody heartbreaking

"this phonecall, it's my note. it's what people do, don't they? leave a note. goodbye, john."

oh god oh god oh god this is so sad

and john doesn't even get to be there in sherlock's last minutes

this is bloody heartbreaking

there's no way that Sherlock survived that

and john just looks so broken

oh, Moran has dark, long-ish hair

interesting

and mycroft reading about his brother's death
and john sitting barefoot in 221b, just staring blankly

his heartbreak is so obvious oh god

"i can't go back to the flat"

now john and mrs h are ranting about sherlock

but they're both heartbroken

now john's going to say everything that he never could.

"you were the best man and most human human being i've ever known and no one will ever convince me that you told a lie."

oh god john

"don't be dead." oh god and his voice is breaking oh god -sob-

and they show Sherlock in the background watching John's heart break

-sob-

Molly helped him! She substituted someone else for Sherlock's dead body! Brilliant!

But how was it done? There was a point of confusion where a bunch of people who are Molly's friends were all crowding around. And there was a truck.

And the random person knocked John down so he couldn't see, because it's crucial for John to think Sherlock's dead.

But after Sherlock fell, the truck disappeared. Did he fall into the truck or something?

Anyway this episode was fantastic and I'll probably be crying for a week.

sob, jim why are you so creepy, real life, sherlock, ranting, fandom is a time sink, so many feelings
