Nothing escapes the Russian dashcams! If aliens come to earth, hopefully it will be over Russia so everyone can see on youtube
Holy shit. How did they not freak out? I'd be like "uh is that a missile?"
I think in the video from the car cam you can hear the guy calmly say "bliat'" just as the meteorite starts flaring up all bright and orange. Loosely translates to "fuck". I think the guy thought he was about to witness Armageddon.
Russian speaker here. He says 'ne huya sebe'. Loosely translates to 'fuck me'. The tone with which he says it is priceless though.
It is actually a debatable subject in Russia. Blyad' is most commonly used as an interjection, and is sometimes written as "blyad'". Lots of people think "blyat" and "blyad" should become different words, with the first being an interjection and the second "whore". Russian swearing - serious business.
People in Chelyabinsk are tough. We have a meme about it:
Chelyabinsk children are so tough they eat candy with the cover.
Chelyabinsk virgins are so tough they make men cry after sex.
Chelyabinsk weathercocks are so tough, they set the wind direction.
Chelyabinsk porn is so tough, it was banned in Germany
Because Vodka.
I live in another city (Yekaterinburg) 200km (125 miles) away from Chelyabinsk and the meteor's contrail was clearly visible from here.
Another reason to love Russian dash cams..
This video is hilarious. Woman's voice (slightly excited): "What was that?" Man's voice (completely indifferent): "A star. Did you make a wish?"
All the cool shit happens in Russia.
I read that in a Russian accent.
Miass
Where?
city located 120 km from Chelyabinsk
Ah, yes. Of course.
For God's sake man, learn your geography!! It's just north of Yuzhnouralsk!!
WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL MY MOTHER!?!?
