Vampire, Werewolves and Homos! Oh my!

So I finally checked out Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans yesterday.

It was about what I expected. Better than that shitty book prequel Underworld:Blood Enemy. I'm a bit surprised that they strayed from the comic book prequel, Underworld:Tooth & Claw, regarding Raze's (Kevin Grevioux, pictured below) origin.

I'm also surprised there wasn't a secret wedding between Lucian and Sonja (I even took a vampire for my bride). My attention waned a bit during the fight scenes but it was adequate gore. I don't know why Bill Nighy feels the urge to do that weird-fucking-face twitch-thing when he speaks his Viktor's lines. Keeping with the simmering homoeroticsm of the first film, there are NO female werewolves which was just fine with me (Lucian's mother doesn't count since she didn't have tits). All those buff, well toned, sweaty beastmen all huddled together. It was just....hott. I also liked that we got to see more shirtless Lucian than in the first movie. mmmmmm! Unfortunately, there were people seated aside from me, so I couldn't jerk off there like when I saw Aeon Flux.

The female vampires fashion were WAY TOO modern for medieval times. The costume designers should've been on that shit. It explains everything about how both the vampire/lycan feud and lycanslavement started and even though it brought everything full circle, as panikmanik said, the ending wasn't really an "ending". They could've done a better job with the resolution like like Star Wars:Revenge of the Sith did. an NO Ameila?! tsk. Oh well. The film as a whole could've used work, but it's still enough to keep any fan of the franchise entertained.

I'd totally have a threesome with Lucian and Raze. That'd be some hot shit. You know, years ago I once had an LJ buddy that told me he fantasized about being in a gay-male-werewolf orgy. Wonder whatever happened to him.....

P.S. Speaking of lynanthropes: Did you know Fox is currently working on a dram/comedy pilot about a quartet of female werewolves called "Bitches"? I am NOT making this up, people. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Werewolf-Fox-Bitches-1001137.aspx

P.P.S. Lycans have been around for centuries and they STILL haven't found a way to live above ground, with soap and haircombs? Hmmph.

beastiality, public masturbation, vampires, raze, werewolves, underword, rise of the lycans, lucian
