A cold snap.

You see? It's a pun. A cold snap is a period of cold weather. And also a photograph of the cold weather. And the noise part of me made half way through photographing the photographs of cold weather. It's okay, I probably didn't need it anyway...

Exactly what I thought. I was writing cards with a similar photo on today.

(You don't want to know how many attempts it took me to write similar.)

I was shocked to learn that holly grows as a tree - I always envisioned it as a vine or small bush. There was a holly tree outside of an office where we held a training session a couple years in a row though. I spent hours staring at it in disbelief.

A degree in Forestry did not prepare me for holly trees.
