Back from the dead
It's been too long since I posted anything on here. A quick update on my life thus far-
On May 6th, I said goodbye to Copper. He had been my dog and best friend from the time I was 9 until I was 24. He had a stroke of some type in the backyard, and my mom and I rushed him to the animal vet. When they took him back and the vet was telling us our options, he had a seizure that pretty much did him in mentally. We put him down and I never took my hand off of him until a few minutes after he was gone.
On May 27th, we said goodbye (again) to Kandi. She did not take well to Copper being gone and the stress caused her trechia to collapse. We could have done surgery every three years but she was miserable. She was only 10 years old. My mom never took her hand off of her and Kandi curled up against my leg as she went peacefully.
I still have Ru and Lilly, although you can tell they are a pack of two with no alpha. But they're doing well.
I won my first international film festival and will be hearing back from a few more in a matter of weeks.
I left my job bartending due to being bullied out by co-workers with a manager who sat by and let it happen. It's now been 2 months and I still am hoping to hear back from any place I applied to.
I am also planning on getting back into writing and currently working out a short fic to get back into the swing of things. I'm also planning on getting back into making vids because I do miss editing.
