So my computer is fixed (kinda), but I'm sure you don't care how, so I'll spare you.
Drove down to UIC dorms with my mom saturday at around 3pm. My roomie wasn't in at the time, so my mom helped me unpack and left with tears in her eyes.
My roommate comes at about 4pm with 2 of her friends, Kevin and Liz--> cool people! Kevin is commuting here but Liz is going to another school.
OH ps my roommate's name is Kimberly- here's the info:
she's really chill and easy to get along with, really sweet, good conversations so far, shared her chinese food with me :D
We went to chinatown after that, and took the SUBWAY whoot! It was super uper awesome!
I went to the foam bash party thing which was alright and then snuck into my room since my roommate was already asleep lol.
Today I went to church to St. Basil's (ps its GREEK FEST is sept 10 and 11 SO COME) which was a really pretty church but like a 25 min walk. Then...hmm...I went on an expedition to find a fork in the cafeteria. That took FOREVER.
teehee now Kimberly and I are both on our laptops that we FINALLY got to work and I'm making her get a livejournal.
Tonight is the hawaiian bash so whoot I hope it's not that lame.

Tomorrow is the first day of classes...um lol...I need books.
