i dont have much time to discuss this, however, i'd like to voice my disgustment with this community. after dandywilber gave up ownership of the_hot_nerds, it had turned 100% on its head. What is going on with the random "lets see how you look" and then having it turn into "look at me im wearing a bathing suit" pictures

my (most likely unwelcome) $0.02:

first of all, i believe the name of the community is: the hot nerds. not "the nerds." the hot nerds.

secondly, not everything that everyone posts is pictures.

thirdly, i think you need to lighten up. perhaps i don't know much, because i only joined last july, but i don't think this is all bad. we're just having fun and playing around. and we're learning more about each other - not just about how we look.

I totally agree. It always struck me weird how we were called "The Hot Nerds", yet there was no focus on physical attractiveness.

Of course it's not the only important thing, but acting like our brains are our only asset is doing ourselves a disservice.

EXACTLY. When I came back as being a mod, I thought it only fair that we not only focus on the fact that we are nerds, but also on the fact that we are (HULLO!) hot.

APPARENTLY some people can't accept that.
