Discussion Prompt #53: Age differences between couples
Jared is 29 and Melanie is 20. Ian is 27 (as supposedly stated by SMeyer...) and Wanderer is thousands of years old, but her host is 17.
Although a similar discussion was proposed before about Wanderer specifically, I now ask: Do you think there's a reason why there seems to be a ~9-10 year gap between the two main couples? How old did you think Ian was? (I thought he was 24/5, but I guess not?) Do you think Steph Meyer has a ~thing for pairing older guys and younger girls? ... Do you think it has something to do with the threat of (non-host) human extinction? Did any character (not just these core four) seem older or younger than they actually are?
