Hey, this is great! I knew there were a lot of communities, but not this many - there are some I never heard of before. Thank you!

(I've seen art posted at PotC_fics, so I think fic and art are both welcome there.)

Glad to be help. :) Indeed, I was surprised too. All the more that some of my old links turned out purged. Eh... *sniff*

That is potc_fic, right? In most cases, the profil was the main criterion, and their profil says only about fics. You're right that the content is important, but then I woulnd't know what to do with the most of general communities - they've become almost nothing but bags of icons now... :(

I know only one dedicated specifically to fanvids, sparra_vids, that's for sparrabeth vids, last time posted in 2010. If I'd have something to post, I think I'd pick a community according to the vid's theme - character or pairing.

One that I didn't see on the list is the PotC/Neil Stephenson's Baroque Cycle crossover comm, impofperversity, mostly fic written by viva_gloria and tessabeth, two of the best writers to ever grace the fandom. Fabulous really is too mild a word for the delights contained therein.

Let me assure you that reading Stephenson is not a prerequisite for the enjoyment of the fic at impofperversity (and "enjoyment" is really too mild a word -- it's like a box of the best chocolates to the nth degree). The main idea was to slash Jack Sparrow with Stephenson's character, Jack Shaftoe, and Gloria and Tess can't be beat when it comes to writing Shaftoe, bar none (including Stephenson himself, IMO). He's the best character ever, save Captain Sparrow.
