RIP LeRoi Moore, saxaphonist and founding member of the Dave Matthews Band.
I could not believe it when I read it. My heart sank and I really feel like a part of me is gone. This band has been with me throught some of the hardest times of my life and some of the best. Never have I loved, appreciated, and related to a band so much. With each individual musician, too. If the band decides to stay together, it will never be the same. Even when I saw them a couple weeks ago, LeRoi wasn't there and it wasn't the same.
I feel awful. For the band, for family and friends, and for the fans out there who feel just as much loss as I do. A huge part of our lives has been lost, even with just one band member.
We love and miss you LeRoi. Keep rocking that sax, you beast. <3
