For iPod users.......a question?

Shiiiiiiaaaat! I just upgraded my iTunes from 4.9 to 5.0 and now I can't load any of the music I bought from the iTunes store into my iPod. Does anyone have similar problems? Damn....now I'm afraid to uninstall 5.0 and reinstalling 4.9 again. Am trying to get answers in the iTunes discussion boards. I hate this! I better not lose all of my music ( Read more... )

Would you by any chance have 4.9? If you do, can you please please please send me the itunes 4.9 installer? I would so appreciate it very much. All of the links I've been through in Apple.com goes straight to 5.0. I wanna die now....

Yes! I had the same damn problem - except it just completely wiped everything on my ipod for me without asking *scowls*

Fuck fuck fuck.....now I don't know what the hell to do. I know damn well I shouldn't update my iPod then. I found the link for dling 4.9 but it kept bringing me back to 5.0 instead. I'm beyond livid. >.

I'd go and have a good snark at iTunes if I were you. I mean, hello! You're *buying* the music there, so you can damn well expect the thing to work.

After all, there are other channels that *do* work with less financial effort.

It took awhile - even 4.9 links are missing or upgraded to 5.0, but I found this site in Germany. I have no idea if the dload is in English or German though - sorry - but it IS 4.9.

I'll keep hunting.

Don't worry. A nice guy from the Apple discussion boards had just emailed his installer version. Right now, I'm restarting my comp to see how it goes. this is a complete nightmare.

ETA: So far nothing's appearing yet. Am having heart attack. Please please don't erase my music! O_O
