first day
grrr, only have a few minutes, but i'll do what i can.
today was... odd to say the least. at least i have some extremely interesting classes to keep me nice and insane for the year. AP english is going to be very hard... but i knew that and that's kinda why i signed up for it. idk, i'll put everything i can into it and work me ass off this year. the new religion teacher i got was... hah interesting. the "prayer table" was a little weird, and it was funny trying to come up with an answer to her asking me what my religion is, but hey, seems like faith and values won't be terrible.
then there's public speaking. if there ever existed a class to be taken to appease parents, this is it. the idea of writing speaches, and then preforming them... geh not sure how well i'm going to do, but i figure i might as well take it. and it is mr. murray, so whatever.
pre cal A... ohhh boy, that's a mixed bag. could be easy as pie the whole year, or could be a wheel of flaming agony shoved sideways up me ass. not sure which yet. but at least there are some cool people in the class.
20th century history... taught by a flamingly liberal democrat. yeah very hard to keep my mouth shut a couple times today. oh well, its one semester, and then i have something better in 5 months.
last class is materials of music and... hey it's not all that bad. realistically that's probably going to end up being my "easy" class, just because i know most of teh stuff we'll have to do. and it's 11 people. the final project may be difficult, but hey, i'll take it as it comes.
the thing that really got me today was that, well, i didn't really believe it. i really didn't think i was a senior. every 30 seconds in public speaking i expected jen bri katie and laura to walk through the door and start joking around with mr. murray and commiserate about work. gah i miss last year's seniors mucho.
oh yeah, and seeing jen tearing ass up the street to me in my dad's truck after jumping out of her med tech van and still in the uniform shirt cheered me up a lot. LOVE YA JENJEN! lol good times
now to read 2 books in one night... yeah i'm pretty much screwed. oh well, im out.
