Reading
Allll the Pacific Rim tie-ins: Man, Machines & Monsters, The Official Movie Novelisation. Number of times I've seen the film: two. On the cultural appropriation/misrepresentation scale, it ranks somewhere between Firefly (offensive, but has other redeeming qualities which make me love the canon nonetheless) and the exemplary Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra (the animated series, not the live-action film, never the live-action film). But Mako and Stacker are both such stellar characters (as women, as POCs), what I take away from the film, ultimately, is that I WANT MORE OF THIS. THIS, BUT MORE.
Wearing
Due to the very un-wintery weather we've been having in Sydney lately, you'll find me mostly in rolled up jeans, Milana loafers, and a raspberry-coloured cotton blouse layered over a singlet. The greenish tinge in my yellow-olive toned skin becomes quite pronounced in winter, and this warm wine/berry colour really helps bring my complexion to life.
Watching
Dance Academy season 3. Really enjoying the Abigail + Ollie friendship/rivalry so far. Sammy really did have a type.
Eating
Dukkah chicken, runny egg yolks, FENNEL IN EVERYTHING.
