Signature.

People who make a habit of hoarding/collecting perfume bottles (*cough*me*cough*) often do not have a "signature perfume" - a scent they wear near-exclusively, like a second skin that meshes seamlessly with every outfit and occasion.

Instead, they I have several ( Read more... )

My signature scent is Issey Miyake (combined with Norsca deoderant, heh). A gift from Jessi, but I really like it!

I hear about Issey Miyake fragrances all the time, but I've never tested any of them... I think it's the cool green bottles. Floral and aquatic doesn't sound like my kind of thing.

Give it a smell test next time you see me. It's subtle, but nice!

These sound terrific. I wear Coco most days, though I also really like Un Jardin Sur Le Nil.

I like both - Coco was a surprise to me when I first smelled it (didn't expect such an oriental from Chanel), and I quite like that whole series from Hermes, especially Un Jardin en Méditeranée, which is one of my most frequently worm perfumes for summer.

I don't wear perfume, but I do put on scented lotion, and you've described exactly how I feel about it. Wearing it for me, matching it to my mood, how it makes me feel.

I'm too lazy to wear lotion on my body, but I should probably start... Winter's coming, and soon I'll have scaly elbows again.

I wear Chanel's Chance eau de toilette exclusively. It's a very layered scent but remains fresh and light enough without being cloying.

I also have peach blossom body lotion but that's mostly for my sake before I go to sleep...

I get restless wearing the same perfume for more than a few days in a row. I wonder if it mightn't have to do with the fact that I don't have a very stable personality...

I wear perfume to bed too. :) Mostly MKK. I find musk so calming.

I strive for stability possibly because I don't feel very stable most of the time :) Also, choosing what to wear in the morning takes me long enough!

Now you've got me thinking - am I in fact a very boring, steady person who needs constant variety to spice up her life?!

We seem to have similar tastes, then. I wear mainly woody orientals as a general rule.

Black Cashmere sounds lovely, from the list of notes alone - I love white pepper in perfumes. I'm sure you'll be able to find bottles online, even if it is recently discontinued.

After googling, I discovered that it has actually been re-released, but with limited availability.
