The Mentalist
What You See Is What You Get (If You're Looking Hard Enough) (Ensemble)
Wonderful STEAMPUNK!AU. The world building is pretty spectacular, and I admire how each and every single of the main characters are handled in this long, plotty fic.

the red holly (Ensemble)
It's Christmas Eve and the team are taking care of a baby. Cho and Jane's reactions alone are worth the price of admission.

Samurai Champloo
Rumors on the Wind (Fuu, Mugen, Jin)
Post-canon hijinks. A great "the gang get back together" fic.

Misfits
Never Was An Apple (Alisha/Simon)
A great look into Alisha's POV, set between the series 2 finale and the Christmas special. I love that there is no shying away from how mortifying and awkward Simon can be. The ending is absolutely perfect.

we are the pretty, pretty thieves (Alisha/Simon)
A really believeable, intriguing Simon POV. Things that he's been practicing for, and things that he has learnt.

Closure (Alisha, Curtis, Nikki)
Set during the Christmas special. I loved the inclusion of Nikki in this, and the maturity all round.

Lost Girl
Watching Horizons (Bo/Dyson/Lauren)
A new and improved ending for 1x13. Oh, how I wish this is how the episode had really gone.

A Single Man
One Day Like This (George/Jim, Charley)
It's just another day. Sweet and romantic, without being over-sentimental.

Daybreakers
Fade to Gray (Edward Dalton, Frankie Dalton)
Pre-movie look at Edward adjusting to his new life, and the changing world. The little details, the way the horror builds, are really impressive.

True Blood
Water will keep running, rivers will turn (Eric, Godric)
I will never tire of these quiet, meditative looks at these two over the centuries - at how they change, and how they stay the same. The period detail is a nice bonus.
