Charlize Theron is rumoured to have been approached for the role of Det. Sarah Essen in Batman 3 (The Dark Knight Rises). Also, according to the same source, Kacie Thomas and Vera Farmiga have auditioned for the part of Julie Madison, a love interest of Bruce Wayne's.
