Joseph Fiennes (FlashFoward, Shakespeare in Love), Eva Green (Casino Royale), Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd, The Prisoner) and Tamsin Egerton (St. Trinian's) have been cast in Starz's upcoming series Camelot. The show will take a fresh approach to telling the Arthur story, with Fiennes as the wizard Merlin and Green as the powerful sorceress Morgana. Arthur and Guinevere will be played by Campbell Bower and Egerton, respectively. Production is slated to begin later in June with the 10-episode series premiering in the first part of 2011. Roland Emmerich (2012) is making a period political thriller, Anonymous, which centres around Edward de Vere, whom some believe was the true author of William Shakespeare's plays. It stars Vanessa Redgrave as Queen Elizabeth I, Rhys Ifans as De Vere, David Thewlis as William Cecil, Rafe Spall as William Shakespeare, and Xavier Samuel as the Earl of Southhampton. [imdb]
