Eric Bana (Star Trek, The Time Traveler's Wife) will play Saoirse Ronan's father in Hanna. The story centres on a 14-year-old girl (Ronan) who has spent her life living in the woods and is trained by her father to be an assassin. She then leaves the wilderness for the first time to assassinate a high-ranking government official who has a lot to hide. Joe Wright directs the film. (Variety)

Skins alumni Nicholas Hoult, who can be seen in Tom Ford's directorial debut A Single Man, has been cast in Fury Road, the new Mad Max movie directed by George Miller. Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy are starring in the apocalyptic action movie, and Zoe Kravitz, Teresa Palmer and Adelaide Clemens are in talks to join the cast. (THR)
