Eric groans beneath the silver; still beautiful. You almost managed to forget in the years that you've been apart, how beautiful he is.

I love that thought. This feels right for TB's Godric.

TB!Godric is so gravely, unendingly sad... I don't know how Eric can keep his cheer when he looks at Godric. I know I'd probably start crying bloody tears or something.

I'm not sure yet what Godric feels for Eric right now... How much he's managed to take his detachment. But I think there was a lot of tenderness and love in the way he tried to correct Eric about his thinking of the Fellowship, compared to the public humiliation he gave Lorena.

Beautiful! I loved every word, you captured Godric perfectly. I also love how you said that Sookie's only weapon were her words - so true! I'm so super excited for tonight's episode! Can't wait!

Great work. very beautifully written, and I'm fairly sure I know what Godric wants as well. ;) I loved this line, "Save us, for we cannot save ourselves." It fits perfectly here. I think it's especially profound with Godric being the saviour, in a way, and also the one Eric will end up saving. At least in my world. If canon disagrees after next episode, tough luck for canon. ;) Anyway, instead of rambling more, I'll just say that i'd love to see more of your work. :D

I don't think that Godric is looking to be some kind of messianic saviour, and I'm pretty ambiguous about his actions in that church. It's almost as if humans being threatened (Sookie, the LoDIs) is the only thing that can rouse him into action any more. With Eric, he's pretty much hands-off, although I'm pretty sure he loves Eric.

Well, we'll always have 1000+ years of history to write. Speaking as a Remus/Sirius shipper, I know how much can be made of that. :)

He certainly doesn't want to be a saviour or anything; I guess he was hoping that neither humans nor vampires would -need- one. Mhm. I'm really not sure what to make of present-day-Godric.

Haha, and then there's always AUs, my best friend since my favourite characters in all fandoms usually get killed off. ;)
