Ian Somerhalder has been cast as one of the leads in CW's drama pilot The Vampire Diaries, based on a series of YA novels by L. J. Smith. They centre on a teenage girl, Elena (Nina Dobrev), who is the object of passion of two vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon (Somerhalder). Cast also includes Michael Trevino, Katerina Graham, Sarah Carey, Zach Roerig, Candice Accola and Kayla Ewell. (Coming Soon)
