Woah, those Y: The Last Man flashbacks were coming loud and clear. And the fact that Derek was one dude in an episode full of strong women who "do what needs to be done"? I hope that's not the last we see of Lauren - I doubt it.
I am a bit confused timeline-wise, though. So Derek met Jesse AFTER Kyle was sent back through the TDM and BEFORE he went back himself. In Dungeons and Dragons, it didn't seem like much time passed between those two events.
