I have just realised that
Jason Bateman (Arrested Development, Hancock) is playing Dominic Foy - Marc Warren's role in the original miniseries - in the movie version of State of Play.
Without totally spoiling it for those who haven't seen the original: omg what a cool new step for him?! And I don't mean that the character is gay (I notice that they haven't cast a "Syd", so who knows if that's even brought up in the movie), but the thought of Jason "Michael Bluth" Bateman playing...kind of a bastard, what. I mean, he's so intrinsically likable, I'm fascinated to see how that works out.
