Emmy Awards.
I'm not going to comment on all the things that the Emmys have gotten it WRONG YET AGAIN and concentrate instead on the fact that:
STEPHEN DILLANE IS A NOMINEE FOR BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR!!!
So are his John Adams co-stars Tom Wilkinson and David Morse (in the same category), and Paul Giamatti (for best actor in a miniseries/movie).
Gabriel Byrne (!!) is nominated for best actor in a drama series, for the first season of In Treatment. So are Dianne Wiest and Glynn Turman (so there's at least one The Wire alumni being nominated for an award).
