Bryne Dallas Howard (Lady in the Water) is in talks to replace Charlotte Gainsbourg in Terminator 4. Gainsbourg, who had been cast as Kate Connor, wife of John Connor (Christian Bale), had to bow out as filming would potentially conflict with a French film she is also doing, should the SAG and the studios fail to reach an agreement and an actors' strike take place in the near future.
