A ton of HD Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles promo pictures at FilmWeb. (Not spoilery. And...omg I've just noticed it. Hang in there baby! The phrase linking present and future.)

A bit of spoilery gossip about the upcoming Terminator movie, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. The film, planned as the first in a new trilogy, will star Christian Bale as John Connor and Sam Worthington as a new lead character called Marcus. [imdb]

The US and UK trailers for Street Kings (formerly titled Night Watchman). I recommend the UK one, if you want to have any idea of what the film is actually about. Keanu Reeves plays Tom Ludlow, a veteran LAPD cop who finds life difficult to navigate after the death of his wife. When evidence implicates him in the execution of a fellow officer, he is forced to go up against the cop culture he’s been a part of his entire career, ultimately leading him to question the loyalties of everyone around him. The supporting cast includes Hugh Laurie, Forest Whitaker, Chris Evans, Common, and Naomie Harris. The director is David Ayer, who last wrote/directed Harsh Times, starring Christian Bale. [imdb]

Sigourney Weaver talks to Premiere about her role in James Cameron's interplanetary adventure, Avatar (starting from page 3), among other films:
What would you compare [the script] to?
I can't think of anything, frankly. I can't think of anything. It's gonna blow the mind of this industry, I think. It's gonna be an experience for people. I don't think they're going to want to come out of the theater. I think kids will want to stay in the theater with their sleeping bags so they don't have to go out into the real world. It's about something. It's about ecology in a lot of ways. About greed.
Avatar also stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez and Giovanni Ribisi. [imdb]

Earlier in EW, James Cameron talked in some detail about Avatar:
'To be certain, I wanted a film that could encompass all my interests, from biology, technology, the environment - a whole host of passions. But I've always had a fondness for those kind of science fiction/adventure stories, the male warrior in an exotic, alien land, overcoming physical challenges and confronting the fears of difference. Do we conquer? Exploit? Integrate? Avatar explores those issues.'

Michael Mann's film about John Dillinger, Public Enemies has added some more names to its cast, including David Wenham, Stephen Graham, Marion Cotillard, Channing Tatum, Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Dorff, Rory Cochrane and John Ortiz. Johnny Depp will portray the infamous gangster, John Dilinger. Christian Bale plays the FBI agent who is on his trail. (Hollywood Reporter) [imdb]

Maureen Ryan has a second look at HBO's In Treatment (which I'm deeply addicted to).
