Okay, you know I can leave or take Keira these days (oh god I miss her Star Wars cameo days! I liked her a lot then), but I literally can't. look. at. MCAVOY. without wanting to cover my mouth and GIGGLE. OH GOD. He has become SO ATTRACTIVE. You saw the Entertainment Weekly (or whatever) cover, right? SWOON.

Glorious picspam, gracias.

PS: Briony has the same haircut throughout her lifetime. ;)

Joe Wright is always joking about that in interviews. :) Apparently it was meant to make the transitions between the three different actresses clear.

SO MUCH WORD. It's a very inconvenient thing, that much attractiveness. ;) He could be the...uh, male Cate Blanchett. I can't take my eyes off him.

I didn't much like Keira's performance at first, but I'm warming up to it the more times I've seen the film (4 now). I do think that it's the best acting she's ever done.

Don't you think 18 year old Briony could play Katee Sackoff's sister? I couldn't stop seeing that when I saw the film.

I never thought of it, but you're right, she would!

I finally get to see this tomorrow! Feels like I've been waiting forever.

Oh James. How is it that he becomes more charming and attractive with everything he does?

Since you seem to have access to the movie I would like to ask you a question. Before I saw the movie earlier this week I had a look at its length. Imdb says 130 min. But when I saw it I first thought it was barely two hours long (though the bastards cut-off the credits). When I looked at a German site it said 123 minutes which might be possible. Can you tell me how long your version is?

My copy is 110 minutes without the closing credits, and about 117 with. No way was it 130.

Thanks! Those are numbers that I would say correspond with what I saw. I just had a look at the official Venice program. It also says 123 min (no idea then where the 130 from imdb comes from).
