There was an old father of Dylan
Who was seriously, mortally illin'
"I want," Dylan said
"You to bitch till you're dead.
"I'll be cheesed if you kick it while chillin'."
Times Online is in Russia with Martin Cruz Smith, whose latest book is "Stalin's Ghost":
"Most of Cruz Smith’s work is not about Russia, but it is his six pacy thrillers about the fictional character Arkady Renko, a fearless, down-to-earth investigator from the Moscow prosecutor’s office, that turned him into an international literary sensation. It is also this part of his work - in which he has taken on the unusual role of an American who speaks no Russian seeking to explain Russia to America - for which he is likely to be most remembered."
winter_baby has posted a gorgeous
picspam for the pilot of Pushing Daisies, which I watched yesterday - I loved it like anything. The writing and acting (from Lee Pace, Anna Friel and Chi McBride especially, as the leads) is wonderful, and the fantasy has a delicious bite of naughtiness to cut the sweetness.
