Doctor Who (3.13)

epshlan, we totally called that one.

WTF RTD YOU KILLED THE MASTER!! *wails* Okay, full ten for impact and inevitableness, but STILL! THE MASTER! He only has to look so haunted by the drums -- the vortex made him that way! Secret Brother! he can't help it! -- and I'm like the Doctor, falling over myself wanting to make him better.

Pfft. Those nasty, horrible drums. I'll make them go away. Promise.

I'm wondering about Lucy Saxon. Did she shoot her husband because she'd finally snapped, or because she saw that he wanted to die - die and not regenerate - rather than be chained up in the Tardis for an eternity? Ultimate loyalty or ultimate betrayal? Or both, I suppose. Although I'm not sure what the ring she picked up from the funeral pyre (LOVED THAT. And the darkness around the fire, the neverending darkness.) meant... Is the ring similar to the pocket watch - something that contains a Time Lord's essence? Is she saving him or taking his power for herself? (Obviously the Master isn't really gone. Obviously.) Could lizbee be right, and Lucy is somehow Romana? We'll see her again, I'm sure.

Edited: Ooh. Rani. Red nails. Evil laugh. Of course.

Anywho. Watched the last four episodes of Life on Mars yesterday, and I AM SICK OF SEEING JOHN SIMM DYING.

gacked from everyone: When you see this post, quote from Doctor Who (classic or new series) on your LJ.
"Human race. Greatest monsters of them all."
-- The Master, "Last of the Time Lords"

Edited: You know what I need? A Master/Doctor icon that said "Crazy/Sanctimonious".
