Trailer for the Steven Shainberg (Secretary) directed Diane Arbus film, Fur (only it's not really there yet. Even though all the sites are saying that it is, but maybe it's just not working for me). According to Shainberg speaking to EW, ''It is a fantasy that attempts to portray what might have been Arbus' experience during a three-month period of her life." Nicole Kidman stars as Arbus and Robert Downey Jr. plays her mentor, Lionel. [imdb] ETA: trailer_spot has the downloadable link here.

Ain't It Cool News received a tip from an untested source that HBO is developing a show called The Centurion. The Iliad and the Odyssey may have been written by a woman, says British historian and linguist. (Discovery News)

BandFromTV (get it?) is a celebrity rock band that performs to raise money for charity. It's members are James Denton, Hugh Laurie, Greg Grunberg, Bob Guiney, Bonnie Somerville, Brad Savage, and a couple of others (sorry others). If you were watching the Emmys, you might have heard some of them mention that they were playing at an after party. A couple of YouTube clips: one & two.  [MySpace]
