*squees over the latest issue of Lucifer*
I think I've mentioned once how the chief artist on the comic, Peter Gross, had said in an interview that his wish to draw the Morningstar just once with an enormous penis was eternally frustrated by ratings. Instead we've always gotten angels as asexual beings.
Well.
This issue does the next best thing.
In one very crazy but wonderful issue, we have Elaine Belloc, now risen to creator, throwing a "girl's night out" with one of the oddest collection of females you'll see this this universe or any other. Only in such a surreal setting could we get such a drunken exchange happening:
Spera (a fallen cherubim in the form of a short curvy red-head): "Hey, Mazikeen. Are you and Lucifer really -- you know -- involved?"
Mazikeen: "We were. Not any more."
Spera: "Right. That's what I heard. And there's something I've been dying to ask you. Because, I mean, I've seen him naked lots of times, and he didn't have any -- he was missing the necessary -- Front row center was just empty, you know? So how does he do it?"
Mazikeen glares. Stands up, towering over Spera. Leans down and speaks softly in her ear.
Spera, shocked and wide-eyed: "Wow."
It's a tease, by god - but it's a damn good one. And from Mazikeen Morningstar, no less. There's no topping that. Not that they'll need to. The final issue of Lucifer will be out the end of this month.

Pale by comparison:
- New Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest pictures.
Voila! - Nicolas Cage update. The trailer for Wicker Man is up over at
Apple Trailers. Cage has also signed on to do an action (?) film called
Bangkok Dangerous. What is with the French syntax?
- Listen to the Battlestar Galactica: Season Two Soundtrack exclusively at
SoundtrackNet. The soundtrack, composed by Bear McCreary, will be released on June 13 by
La La Land Records. Here is a
review.
"What this album provides is a glimpse of the diversification of the music as the show's writers expanded the "Battlestar Galactica" universe."
