You've heard it all (mostly) before, but it doesn't hurt to hear it again:
- An update on the casting for Nightwatching (dir. Peter Greenaway). Dark Horizons today reported that Martin Freeman is going to be playing Rembrandt -- this agrees with yesterday's news from Coming Soon! and The Hollywood Reporter. Looks like the earlier piece of news about Matthew MacFadyen having the role was mistaken. Shame...
- If all goes well, Ender's Game will be Wolfgang Petersen's (The Perfect Storm) next project. (Dark Horizons)
- An officially-sanctioned film sequel to Bram Stoker's "Dracula"? EWW. (Coming Soon)
- Today, Twitch educated me as to who Stephen Colbert is.
- The teaser trailer for Casino Royale is now at Moviefone -- it's the same one that I posted about earlier this week, except this time the voiceover (Judi Dench and Daniel Craig) is in English. It's worth watching again just for the dialogue.
- trailer_spot has links to the new Pirates of the Caribbean 2 trailer in high definition. Of course, I couldn't resist making caps.

Let's take a second to admire the effects: HOW AWESOME IS THAT OCTOPUS ARM?

"It's...very nice?"
Lady isn't impressed either.
This cinematography is just incredible.
Okay, based on this image alone, the sequel is already topping the original in prettiness.
Lots of extreme overhead and low angled shots, which I love.
"There'll come a moment when you'll have the chance to do the right thing." (HAT! Tongue!)
"I love those moments..."
"I like to wave at them as they pass by."
