Got groceries yesterday. Helluv vitamin waters and odwalla protein lattes. Wrote James a long letter regarding my concern about his financial situation. I'm sorry but I'm not getting screwed again and telling myself "Oh it's okay, we're in love and he's in trouble, I'll take care of everything." Because if you do that, men will just be content to let you take care of everything FOREVER. I've realized that, contrary to what I previously believed, not ALL men are bums. Some men are financially independent, but they will just treat you like a whore. So basically our choice is between nice guys who drain you financially, or stable guys who drain you emotionally. My solution? Go with the nice guy, but put your foot down and keep your money seperate. Don't be afraid to be a bitch. If they're as nice as they seem they'll understand and only admire you more for your strength.
