Boy, the initial Bonnaroo lineup this year isn't quite up to par. There are some real gems in there, Pearl Jam, Battles, Ladytron, Sigur Ros, Umphrey's, Talib Kweli, Iron and Wine, Yonder Mountain, etc. However, they really missed the boat with the headliners especially: Metallica? Kanye West? Jack Johnson? And I'm sorry, but that Plant and Krauss business is awful. I believe I saw Death Cab in there, too...

Hopefully the next few lineup announcements will bring forth some better news. I really can't believe people are still buying into that monotonous drone of a songwriter Jack Johnson. Most uneventful music of the last 50 years.
