Is there anyone on this earth that wants to go see Blackalicious in Chicago a week from Friday? The show is only $20.
Speaking of concerts, Kiley and I ordered our Mars Volta tickets a couple days ago. For maybe the third time in three years, the Volta are headlining a couple shows in the middle of the Chili Peppers tour this fall, one of which will be at the Aragon Ballroom (the location for the shooting of Primus's Hallucinogenetics DVD) on September 22nd. It's also general admission. Sooo, needlesstosay, I am a little bit excited.
Also, if I don't get to see Blackalicious, I may be going to see The Roots with Talib Kweli and The Pharcyde. That one is a little more expensive though, so I don't know if I will be able to swing it.
New Brown James material is being worked on, too. Hopefully the demo will be finished sometime soon...
