I was roused from bed this morning by a series of gentle shakes and soft kisses. Alarik was in an amiable mood for once, how could I resist that? We had a pleasant walk in the grounds until greeted by a rather....interesting scene.
After a time we headed back to the castle, but I noticed Hoka-Alford wandering in one of the gardens and remembered the news I had yet to deliver. It was not easy to tell him, and I could see that the news affected him more than it had to tell Hoka-Gunter. In an attempt to cheer him up I brought him to where I used to go when troubles of the world seemed too much. He says he does not need such a place, but it is there, nevertheless if he ever does. I always seem to feel an insatiable need to look after the man...there's just something about him that speaks of immense fragility. I'm afraid it has always been my weakness to help those such as him.

- Go to meet the returned negotiators
- Arrange a time to speak with his double on the morrow (with or without Gwen)
