What am I thankful for this year?

I am thankful for a number of things this year, but I'll try to generalize these things, since I wanna cite these great events in my end-of-the-year review entry.

So here's what I'm thankful for.

I'm thankful for NYC.  Since the move back, I've seen more shows, and have had more of an opportunity to land a job.  And now I'm a full-timer in the corporate finance world, so I'm thankful I finally have a job with a nice starting salary and benefits.

I'm thankful for a mother who's put up with all my crap for the last five years while I was away in DC.  She was the one that gave me the incentive (and a need/demand) for me to come back home while I was struggling my last few months down in DC.  Come to think of it, she "stayed the course" with me and hasn't given up.

I'm thankful for my concert crew for letting me be who I am and what I am today.  They've been an awesome set of friends that just about share the same desires and aspirations as I do.  I can't wait for the shows to start up again so that we can rule the concert whoring world!

I'm thankful for the musicians and singer/songwriters that have allowed me to be a part of their life in some way.  They remain the sole reason why I keep doing what I do.

I'm thankful for a certain group in church that have made me a part of their group and a part of their lives.  Prior to my departure for DC, I was that loner in the church that contributed a lot, but at the end of the day, I would wind up all alone, by myself, with no one to talk to.  But now, I feel like I belong, even though I'm multi-tasking from one thing to the next.

So those are the major things that I'm thankful for this year.
