As some of you may have known (I know I haven't talked much about my real life lately), I've been temping at a corporate finance firm for the past 6 months. I should've been gone three months ago, but my immediate supervisor liked me too much for her to let me go, and so she offered me a chance to stay on a bit longer. And then some.
Well, yesterday she gave me an offer to become a full-timer, and I accepted. Today, the Big Kahuna of the company came by with the terms of the offer (45K/year to start, among other benefits and what-not), and I was quite pleased with the terms that I emphatically accepted.
Now it's just a matter of latching onto their payroll.
Hooray for job security!
