i'm sure it was R2D2's fault
Hung out with Alex and his dad yesterday. Pizza and a movie! I had originally wanted to do an original Star Wars movies marathon, but we were delayed and by the time the first one was done I was pretty tired (and it was after 3PM). Next time, we'll eat while watching and start at like. 10AM.
1) Harrison Ford used to be young.
2) Mark Hamill used to be thin.
3) Carrie Fisher... is still pretty much the same. (I know When Harry Met Sally is "old", but she looked damn good in that movie.)
It's also a funnier movie than I remembered. Watching C3PO and R2D2 run around is pretty funny, you have to admit.
Even with as far as special effects have come since Star Wars, it's still incredible to me how cool all the shots and effects in Star Wars are and know they did them without the benefit of a lot of the computerized technology we take for granted in movies now.
And seriously. How cool is the end of the movie. FIGHTERS EVERYWHERE. FLYING. AND STUFF. OMG SO EXCITING.
