Watched Caddyshack last night and LOVED IT. It was absolutely hilarious in the way that great comedy makes you forget that NOTHING makes sense. There is no plot. Okay, there is a plot, but nobody really cares about it. Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, and Ted Knight are amazing. Absolute gold randomness. The comedic timing is perfect, the improvisation incredible, and overall it was a very fun watch. I don't think it's going to be one of my favorite comedies (Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure still takes the cake for the witty dialogue and ridiculous premise), but I have to say that I enjoyed Caddyshack thoroughly.
It'll be a couple days before Planes, Trains, and Automobiles gets to me, so in the meantime I'll watch Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid on Netflix streaming.
