First, some amazing and beautiful pictures from Japan: Japan Earthquake: Two Months Later. The images are huge so I don't want to link, but they are moving and really, really beautiful in many cases. Take a look, and know that you can continue to help out by doing small things like buying Apple's Songs for Japan.

Yesterday I... well... um...

Dude, what did I do yesterday?

After breakfast I... Oh! I went to Trader Joe's! And bought lots of premade food, which was probably a mistake, but it looked really good ): Plus I bought orange juice and sparkling wine to make mimosas~

For myself, of course. Because I'm lame like that.

And flowers! I have flowers on my coffee table now!

I cleaned a little bit, got gross and sweaty exercising, and then went out to dinner with Jordan, Jen, and Lu to Top of the Hill in Chapel Hill. It started pouring rain when I left my apartment, and let up when Jordan's car pulled up to pick us up :| Thanks Mother Nature. Nice to know.

Lu sucks at giving driving directions.

At the restaurant it was super awkward. We stood waiting for a table while 3 staff members consulted about something (probably other reservations) and not one of them acknowledged us. For minutes we stood there. No one even said, "Sorry, we'll be with you in just a moment!" They just ignored us. Once they did seat us outside they wedged us into a table that was too close to the others between two parties of older women. Even though multiple open tables were all over the patio. We felt like we were getting in the other parties' ways because there were 4 of us but only 2 in each of the others.

The calamari battering was soft and kept falling off the calamari. Jen's burger was dry. The sweet tea wasn't actually all that sweet. My crabcakes were great though.

After dinner we stopped into the Ackland Art Museum Store, where they have a ton of cute stuff. So exciting! They had these champagne-flute like glasses that would have gone perfectly with my martini glasses and decor, but 2/$20 ):

Came home to watch TV - actually watched Bones last night. DDDDDDDDDDDD: forever

I need to start going to bed at a reasonable hour again.

I just had an awesome breakfast.
