HA! HAHA! AHA!
Thursday I spent the morning wandering about aimlessly - I started with a stint in Barnes and Noble at the Pru reading Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell while eating breakfast at the Starbucks. Then I headed over to Fanueil Hall to do some window shopping and pick up macaroons for Rachel before I was supposed to meet Margaret for lunch at BU.
The BU student union dining area is gorgeous :| They have a fountain outside.
After lunch we walked a little ways to a Japanese patisserie where we had Japanese cake to relive our days in Hakodate. We took pictures and everything :3 They were very Japanese and we very much enjoyed them.
Then she took me to see the Japanese House and meet her roommates, along with a high school friend of dcrono. Small world right?! (lol apparently in Japanese the phrase is that the world is narrow.)
Friday night I had dinner with Jess. I've always marveled at how little I see Gov members, despite us having spent the better part of our senior year together. This winter Rachel finally got my unit together (she tries, I don't), which was the first time all four of us had been together since the last day of high school. Anyway, that was how I found out Jess was at Harvard so we got together to have dinner on Newbury Street. Very cute little restaurant with great food - the Peking duck samosas were the best part and I probably could have had just that for dinner. Jess picked all the noodles out of her noodle dish and left all the vegetables.
Then we went shopping! Most of the shops on Newbury were closed, but the Forever 21 was open and I got cheap jewelry.
Hung out a little with Tiff and one of her roommates after dinner watching the Resident Evil movies on TNT.
Saturday afternoon I went back to Fanueil Hall to return a pair of jeans I'd bought Thursday and to get Rachel more macaroons. In the rain 8(
In the evening Tiff and I had planned to have a late dinner together, but as it turns out 9 is too late for everything so we just went back to her room (which was filled with a million people) and hung out watching Jurassic Park. I gave out mostly free massages, Aaron went 80s rocker on us, and a blue platypus was molested. Also most of a rotisserie chicken was devoured. Around 10:30 we went out to Shaw's to grab some food, which actually meant Manny spraying Alex with Febreeze, Tiff and I getting cake and sweet tea, and someone getting fruit.
Sunday I forced ggmoonycrisco to come to the library to see me, then we went to find breakfast/lunch food ("congratulations, you're a diegomon master!"). Margaret couldn't make it out from BU :( Rachel, Riley and I had lunch/dinner in the food court and then Pinkberry afterward. I hung out with midgarangel and eventually we ordered pizza and watched a documentary on Walt Disney together ♥
AND A LOVELY WEEKEND WAS HAD BY ALL.
