Yesterday I managed to accomplish only half of one set of errands - I found jeans and went to Bath and Body Works. Usually I just stop at Sears and pick up the same pair of jeans in the children's section I've been wearing for a couple years now, but this time I started at Old Navy and then went on a tour of every store that could possibly sell jeans I would have a half a hope of fitting in. Sears had practically no children's/girl's clothes, which is how I ended up thwarted and in Express at all.

I loathe pants shopping. Anything else - dresses, bras, shirts, shoes - is fun (sometimes not shoes because my feet are defective too), but pants is just... argh. Normally it goes quickly since I know where I can find what fits and I've more or less given up looking really good in them (I rely on my shoes to help me with that). And also because $65 is the most I've ever spent on anything besides an entire skirt suit and my prom dress.

I was also supposed to have stopped at Sephora while I was at the mall, but alas, that is not how things went since it took me so long to find pants. I'm not sure what I would get, to be honest; the thought was that I need eyeliner and lipgloss, but I'm sure I don't.

I returned home utterly exhausted and spent the rest of the evening that way. I did a little bit of cleaning and some laundry and watched some TV, but I couldn't focus on reading or anything academic nature. Hence why I still don't have the presentation I'm supposed to give in 3 hours. My plan was to edit the presentation I gave at the conference in January, so I think I'll go do that now.

What happened at the end of HIMYM? I made it to the second commercial break and then apparently fell asleep again. I love Neil Patrick Harris, but this show is starting to drag on and I find myself less and less interested.

I think one day I am going to have to own this remake of Hawai'i Five-0.

Have I posted this song before?
