magic really is terribly impractical
AHHHH MY BODY HATES ME AND DOES NOT WANT ME TO BE HAPPY.
So! Those storms and tornado warnings and all in North Carolina yesterday? I survived! Driving home from Winston-Salem was the worst thing ever and I was kind of scared at a variety of points. I was a little sleep deprived and it was overcast and I could barely see anything through the rain, and was scared senseless because just trying to keep my eyes on the road was exhausting me. I had meant to pull off and get gas and lunch, but I was scared that if I did either of those things I wouldn't be able to find the highway/get back on it again safely, so I just kept driving.
I have video, but I'm too lazy to upload it at the moment. And I definitely didn't take video of the worst parts.
lol my parents called to check on me and ask how my defense went.
So far today I've spent most of the day relaxing and reading. I need to do homework but the laptop is pretty dead and I'll have to take it to OIT tomorrow to have them help me copy the whole harddrive off before I take it to Apple (I doubt this is something OIT can fix). I doubt I'm going to get it working by Thursday, which means that I'm not sure how I'm going to do homework or keep myself entertained in Boston. FML.
I also need to go to Bath and Body Works and had contemplated stopping by the Borders one last time to pick over their remaining manga, but I sense that I will not be doing either of these things. We'll see how I feel after I soak in the bath and do some reading (and by reading, I totally mean Pandora Hearts).
