Manny Ramirez retires from baseball
Princeton hosts Asian music conference - one of things I find interesting in this article is a somewhat bizarre blurring of lines between East Asian and Asian American. The conference appears to be geared specifically to East Asian musicians and culture, which I think is a very different subject from Asian American artists.
And then there's all that business with the government, but let's not get into that. Either I'll start yelling and swearing (more), or I'll cry because wtf is wrong with this country.

Sorry the news is coming from Yahoo today. Didn't feel like searching too hard. I had work this morning and was supposed to have lunch with Jordan, Lu, Gameli, and Jen, but it didn't work out - after I stood outside the restaurant for 20 minutes.
