ugh what is this

So right now I'm in Williamsburg with my aunt and brother, we're going to go around doing awesome historical things because my aunt is a fifth-grade teacher and they're switching over to the Revolutionary War instead of the Civil War.

Japanese is ;LKADJ;FOZISDJ;FLKSD. That is all. Damn 漢字 quizzes like every class.

Japanese Architecture is okay.

... My third class is a giant mess and I need to straighten that out soon, lol. Like. In the next few days soon. I don't want to do too much work on the Chinese prostitution stuff when what I actually need to be working on is the English-language theory and the Japanese-language history stuff. ARGH FML.

In lovely news, I have an advisor! Hillary made the mistake of mentioning to me one day over cake that asking a professor to be your advisor is like asking them to marry you, and so that was pretty much all I was thinking about Tuesday during class :/ In the end, I kind of just plopped down in a chair and was like, "... CAN I ASK YOU TO BE MY ADVISOR??? :D :D :D"

So anyway, at least that part is... going. Somewhere. Sometime.

We may or may not be doing campout this year. It's pretty late, the first weekend in October, but that's a long-ass time to be not in my apartment doing homework or research. I really wish I could get an exemption, but there's no way that's going to happen unless I go to other events and get really, really lucky in a raffle.

I also have a tiny little job being the student forum coordinator. First order of business: convincing everyone that they cannot all do their presentations at the third session.

FML AM I APPLYING TO MORE GRAD SCHOOL. I NEED TO KNOW THIS SOON.

Also I do not think that one of the things I absolutely needed to buy for my birthday was a boxset of the first season of Kyou Kara Maou.

moar grad school, homework can go diaf, japanese, friends, grad school, anime, school, real life
