share each day with me
I'm still pretty wiped out, overall, which is why instead of studying for my lesson quiz or doing reading for this afternoon I'm typing an LJ entry. Yes. \o\ /o/ orz
Yesterday we had our 私の町 presentations, and were really pressed for time. I ended up bs-ing my way through most of it anyway, as is not surprising from me. WAY TO FAIL, ME. After class Yao and respectively melted a little walking, then I picked her up so we could go check out storage facilities for our stuff over the summer. Looks like we'll be sharing a 10x10 unit instead of each getting our own. Ugh, moving out is going to be a pain.
But at least we have that settled! Now we both just need to find someplace to live next year~ I'm tempted to stay where I am, because Anna and Tyler are staying and because I like splitting the Internet/cable bill and all three major Duke buslines are about a 5 minute walk from the house... But then the outside temperature got above 90 and I was instructed not to use the AC and thought I was going to pass out in my own apartment, so no.
The pollen is still super gross and I really need to remember to take pictures for you guys before it all goes away :3
After these important decisions were made we went back to Duke and added to the 17,000 items of Duke merchandise sold basically since Monday night. The Championship win coincided beautifully with visiting students weekend and Graduate Student Appreciation Week (grad students get 20% off everything), so I can easily imagine how aggressively the stores can cash in.
I guess if anyone wants anything let me know? o_O I'm not sure why anyone would want anything, but Yao seems to be of the opinion that my friends and family should be informed when I get 20% off Duke merchandise.
We had dinner at The Loop and then we went home, and I did some reading and watched TV, blah blah blah. Really not very interesting stuff. I need to go change and then do this Japanese assignment thing and maybe study for the quiz. I still haven't decided how I'm getting to/from UNC today because the Al Gore talk starts at 6... so I guess I'll drive :/
