and i know it's gonna be a lovely day

While all you kids had shiny new Pokemon, I had Blue Devils kicking Yellow Jacket ass. Sort of.

YESTERDAY I DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

It was kind of glorious.

I studied for my kanji quizzes (fml), watched the Duke-Georgia Tech ACC Tournament Championship game (in which GT played really well), and then did a lot of searching the library for materials for my Japanese Women Writers class and my project. Duke has a ton of stuff on children's literature published in the last 3 years, but not much from earlier (i.e. all the classic works on children), so it was a good thing I'd saved and was able to hunt down all my stuff from Oxford. I ended up requesting the books from UNC, which means I'll actually have to do work because they won't let me keep them until the end of the year, like Duke does.

I also checked the brackets after they were announced, and will be filling mine out between today and tomorrow. There's a lottery for first and second round games, but I don't want to go all the way to Jacksonville this weekend to watch them play first and second round games. By Sweet Sixteen? Maybe. Definitely by Elite Eight.

After dinner I went to Foster's to get pie for Pi Day.

Then I watched TV for a bit and went to Lilly to print my readings for Japanese Pop Culture sometime in the future. I ended up talking to my aunt for awhile because she and my grandma are going to Japan this summer, so they'll be in Tokyo when I'm finished in Hokkaido.

ALSO. I FINALLY STARTED INVESTIGATIONS.

EDGEWORTH YELLS EUREKA.

I find this to be hilarious. I made the weirdest snort/shriek/laugh when it first happened in the awesome LOGIC MODE.

These games. NEVER CHANGE, ACE ATTORNEY.

The only thing about having started is that I really want to play right now instead of eating lunch and doing a quick kanji review before my quiz.

homework can go diaf, japanese, march madness, video games, grad school, school, real life, phoenix wright
