if the fish swam out of the ocean

Yesterday was a semi-productive-like day. I started by doing that Japanese homework -_- Then I took it over to Trent, said hi to Dana, Carla, and Yan, then went back to my apartment for lunch. After lunch I went to The Bead Room to pick up more headpins and chain, then came back and tried to access the Bank of America website so that I could pay rent. No luck. I took my rent check to the bank after 2 so that it wouldn't be processed until today or Monday.

Then I worked for a little bit on my newest necklace, then went over to Southpoint for my massage. Jen and Gameli txted me on my way there, asking if I could pick them up at Whole Foods. They said they'd eat dinner and wait until I got back around 6:30...

My current massage therapist is Tricia, and she's amazing. Like. Seriously. My shoulders are slightly sore and bruised-feeling, but oh my gods did it feel good when she got the knots out. Also, I did not know there was tension in my ass until she did something and it hurt. The good kind of hurt. And she knows that my hands are all weird and... Ahhhhhh I'm falling apart ): But it was lovely nonetheless.

I stopped by the Super Target to pick up groceries - okay, seriously. It was like everyone in the area was expecting a week-long blizzard or something. Everyone was in the food section, and everyone had cartloads of groceries. Guys, the weather is only supposed to last until the end of today. After today, it's back to clear and sunny, and the roads should be fine by Monday or Tuesday. I get the fear of it going until Monday, but seriously. No need to raid the grocery stores. It would have made more sense if people were buying what looked like Super Bowl snacks but no.

Finally made it back to Durham just as the snow was starting to fall! *o* Jen and I sat in The Mad Hatter for a bit, chatting, then I got a slice of red velvet cake to go and we went over to Whole Foods to pick up something. Then I drove Jen home in the snow, trying not to die in the process. Because it had only been snowing for a little while, maybe an hour, it wasn't too bad with ice or anything, but there were small patches of ice in various places that surprised me when I came upon them. I'm obviously still okay, and so is my car.

I pretty much just ate dinner and finished the necklace and watched Bones after that, holed up in my apartment. Watching the snow blow by my window is so cool.

homework can go diaf, japanese, madness i say, friends, north carolina wtf, way too happy, shopping, jewelry, real life
