trying to figure out if i should do this thing or that
Japanese was fine yesterday, actually. We did dialogue practice after the quiz, and somehow my partner ended up inviting me to go with him to his friends' wedding in Hiroshima. Good times, improvising in a language you don't really know. I picked up lunch from Grace's and then went over to East Campus.
Jordan and I are agreed that yesterday was the most depressing class we've ever been to. Not only did the lecture talk about Gojira, but then we watched parts of The Atomic Cafe, Barefoot Gen, and Grave of the Fireflies. Holy crap. He made us watch two trailers for the latter. I think I died a little inside, and I know I was on the verge of sobbing.
After that supremely depressing last hour of class, Jordan, Yao and I headed to Bostock so I could get a formed signed by Kris, which I need to take to the Registrar after class today. Then we went to Brightleaf Square to the Mexican restaurant there for drinks and snacks. Mmmmm pina colada~ So good~ And there was even whipped cream!
And churros. Because churros are oh so good.
I came home and really did take the Jeopardy test, which was oddly difficult. I really don't think it was just because I'd had a drink. Of course, there were some clues which were disturbingly easy, but I don't know my sports as well as I should.
Then I just passed out. Because... I have no idea. My head was tired and my eyes were tired and I just needed the sleep. I slept until 12:30 or so, when I got up to watch the rerun of White Collar at 1. Then I fell asleep again. I'm still kind of exhausted by the whole thing :/
To top it all off, Kemono no Souja no Erin just broke my heart into a million little pieces. I want to just go curl up in a ball and cry forever.
